See ya in Numidia in August again...
Most PF/TF motors I've seen use a 4-cam case , like the old U-model Big-Twin Flathead bottom end.
I did recognize genuine HD rocker covers on those STD or S&S (or billet) heads though.

Yeah , most Pro-Stock motors are now based on a billet aftermarket V-Rod motor , no?.

PS bikes are running 6.7 @201.

TF , mid-6's at 230?

It would seem the TF bikes should be running a lot faster than they are , given the power and cost of machines.

Is anyone consistently in the low-6's , or high-5's?

Other than 4cyl bikes?

I remember seeing Elmer Trett and 'Spiderman' McBride years ago.

Note... TF Harleys Really are Harleys... and Cost???? Go Buy ya one of them Pro Stockers... gotts buy one because there is No Way in Hell you can build one... even if Identical to those other, Wierd things... you won't be legal... because you aint in the "Club"

Yes... I dislike NHRA PS in a very heated way... If the cry babies would have just accepted the Competition from the "other" bikes... it would still be a real Class... Not Spec. Racing
as an aside... do you know
Who had the First Real Harley, to Qualify at an NHRA Pro Stock event???

Oh and... Spiderman is still around... sometime after his "association" went under He was one of the "group" that Formed the Man Cup outfit..Plenty of Imports to see there...

First name to come to mind was;

In 1975 Andrew “Rosa” Rosamilia started building a bike from scratch. He started racing it in 1977 and continued for more than a 12 years - setting many records in his class. The bike has always had a stock FL/FX frame, with a carburetor running on gasoline. At first, the bike was running in the high tens. From 1980 to 1990 it prgressed from 10:50 to a 9:25 in the quarter mile. Terminal speed went from 120 to 138 MPH. Around 1980 it started setting most of the big twin ET and MPH records for its class. It ran in one configuration or another with different engine sizes, but always in the same frame and always with a four-speed transmission.

He was running that same Shovelhead at the last AHDRA I went to at Maple Grove , about , maybe 13yrs ago?

Yea... I remember that one... but No on NHRA Prostock Bike Qualifying..
It was Rob Korn.. AMRA ProStock Pilot... did it in the early '90's but, that was previous to my Unfortuneate Incident, and I do Not have good recollections from previous..so I cannot, at this time, share the exact year even..
