hey jams: were you here the year that the jack pine gypsies hosted numerous big name bands at the track? it was about 4 years ago, they got BTO, RICK DARRINGER, EDGAR WINTER, and APRIL WINE. i think if i remember right, the tickets were extemely cheap for 4 bands, like around 30 bucks. sad part was, was that it did not get much for attendance and they haven't done it since.

The only events that I recall that they had other than racing was a few years back when they were running the Easy Rider Rodeo and then that -----------aaaaaaaaaaaaccccccckkkk!.

I have gone into a complete brain lock up!

I can't remember what they call those crash fests where a bunch of people get in junker cars in the middle of an arena and last one running won.

What are they?? Crash Derbys??

Well anyway, the Gypsies had guys on motorcycles crashing each other.

well, if you like concerts, this was a good one to have went to. at the time i was angry because i wanted to go to the chip that night and see steppenwolf, but the OM had went and got us tickets to this, and it was a great time had some excellent seats in the arena, and got some good pics

The O/L and I are wanting to try and catch a good concert this year but so far the schedules I looked at do not show much.

The only bands that I recognize is Blue Oyster Cult and the Fried Brothers.

Do you know when and where any real good bands will be playing?
