Best bike wash in Sturgis

Will need a good bike wash when I arrive in Sturgis. Where is a good one?

If you're not too picky with people touching your bike, you can always spring for one of the bikini girl bike washes. Otherwise, there are likely new vendors every year and you'll just need to ride around until you see a DIY setup at a good price that looks decent.

Most camp grounds have an area to wash your bike, also there is a coin operated "car Wash" at the first Sturgis exit heading west. I wash my own bike as that's a good time to give er a good lookin over...

I wash it before I leave and then again when I get home LOL. I figure if mine is good and dirty nobody will park too close to me.

There's a bikini bike wash on Lazelle St., north end of town. It's on the right side of the street as you're going south into town a short distance past the main I-90 Sturgis exit. If I remember correctly, it's a regular car wash that does bikes only during the rally. Can't guarantee this year, but they did a good job last year.

Last weekend I was at a rally that supplied a wash area that included water, soap, a blow dryer and towels, and even wax. There was no charge, not even a donation bucket. This was a real bonus.

There is a self serve car wash on Jct Ave. that's the street that comes off of the east side interstate exit.

get off on junction and head north. on the right(east) about half way up is a group that has been doing it for years as your heading into sturgis. donations are all they have ever asked and i think they know how precious our baby's are.

Antonio Pendejo is an unknown quantity at this point
Best bike wash is in Rapid City, in the driveway behind the convention center.
H-D owns the convention center for the week. They provide buckets of all their cleaning products, water hoses, sponges, rags, chamois, the works.
They also have detail specialists there to help you with tips and shortcuts. You will have to do all the labor yourself, all the materials are free. Have fun,
AP

Have fun
