Long Term Parking

Is there a place near Sturgis where you can safely leave a car and a trailer for a couple of weeks around the time of Bike week?

I'm driving the car with my wife with the bike in toe and would like to leave the car and trailer there for a couple weeks while we tour around the western states. I'm pressed for time and would like to have as much riding time out west as possible. I can make it out there in two days with the both of us driving and home in two also so I'm figuring I'll get an extra 4 days riding doing it that way

might want to look for a long term storage facility you can rent for a cpl of weeks. probably have to pay for a month, but would be a secure place to leave it.

Thanks for the suggestions. Looks like I'll have to come up with another plan.

Just reserve a room at one of the motels on I-90 in Rapid City for a night, off-load and leave it there until you come back, stay another night and the load up. There's millions of trailers already there anyway!

Put an ad in Craigslist for Rapid City looking for a short-term rental. Or call up some truck dealerships and find out if any of them can accommodate you. Given how few trucks are moving these days, they're bound to have room on the lot. Or call up Rapid City Harley and see if they have any suggestions.
