Speed Trap - Parowan, Utah

If you are using I-15 north of Las Vegas, look out for a lot of enforcement of the 75 MPH limit around Parowan, Utah. This includes a local Parowan cop in a white Dodge Charger parked in the median, who uses hot pursuit from a standing start to "clock your speed" in about an eighth of a mile. No way!!!!

The UHP use a black Dodge Charger, and the Sheriff's deputies are in a light-colored truck like a Chevy Tahoe. The UHP and the Sheriff use continuous radar that my Valentine 1 picked up about 5 miles away.

We visited Sturgis about June 26th. Ride safely!

they have been doing that strech of I-15 forever. I been stopped there several times. They will pull you over for just looking at them.

I agree. Find more potential traps across the country not to mention some horror stories.
