Vanocker Canyon for the first time.

This last weekend I rode Vanocker Canyon outside of Sturgis for my first time. I have never been to the Tail of the Dragon but Vanocker is one seriously curvy road!

When I went to Sturgis in 05', we stayed in Nemo. You had to ride the Vanocker Canyon Hwy to get there and back. We did it twice a day. That road is AWESOME!! Lots of opportunities to scrape your foot boards. Quite scenic too!

Vanocker was even better before they paved the last mile going into Sturgis. Kept most of the riders off the road when they saw gravel!!!

I'll bet I rode Vanocker at least 8 times over the past 10 days! It's one of my favorite roads in the hills!!

Glad you enjoyed it!

I need to take the bike up there. I have run it before it was paved about 10+ years.
