I'm doing it too. Just ordered the 12.5" 440s for my Ultra. When I put the Mustang seat on, it seemed to pick me up a little, so losing .5 inch should be just about right.
I've got a Draggin Bagger kit still in the box. Make me an offer.

Just a little FYI on the 12.5 440s over the 13 inch on a bagger. There is not any real difference in the height of the bike after the swap. I am sure that doing a 13 inch 440 on the bagger would have raised it. With that being said, I was down in San Antonio last week doing some riding (went to Bandera for the Wild Hog Rally) and I was not really liking the 440s. I messed around with the firmness of the springs several times and just could not seem to dial them in right. Finally, I just took the advice of another member on here and did 3 turns for myself (180lbs) and then 5 turns with the passenger. Let me tell you, I am definately happy now. No more bottoming out, the road is smooth, and the ride is very sure footed. It is definately a different ride from the air shocks. You get a much better feel for the road. The only way to really describe it would be to go from driving one of the big cadillacs to driving the cadillac XLR. The ride is firm without being harsh.

I bought a set for my Street Glide. They seem too harsh for me. When I ride 2up with the Tour Pak on they seem to be better. I dont like the ride solo. I go about 200 lbs solo. I started with the HD then I bought the standard springs. It seemed better with the Standard Springs. I just switched back to the air shocks. I had the 440 for about a month or so.

Anybody interested in a slightly used set with standard and HD springs 12 inch?

Mark

440's

Moorefun, I've been thinking about a set for my 05 wg. What do you want for them?

I received Moorefun's 12" 440's and installed them on my 2007 SERK. I gotta' agree, not much of an improvement. Nice to be done with the air leaks and air pump while on the road though.

Other posters have said things like, "Best money I have spent on the bike." I wouldn't go that far. So far I have only ridden them (STD spring with two turns, 190 lb solo rider) up and down a very, very rough stretch in front of the house. Rides just as poorly as the factory air shocks, no bottoming from either set. I'll go on a long ride this weekend and give them a better test.

Moorefun, I assume the black springs are stock and the chrome one's are the heavy duty?
