swapping stock shocks..any advice/wisdom

I'm going to replace the stock rear shocks on my '06 Street Bob with Progressive 412s. I was planning to do it myself but before I start is there any advice/wisdom from someone that has done it themselves? Thanks.

Just make sure you have proper support under the bike. Its best to use a jack of some sort. Do you have one? Torque wrench? Loktite? The jack will be needed to stabilize the bike and move the swingarm/frame up and down a little.

I put the whole bike on a lift and then put a floor jack under the rear tire. That way you can move the rear wheel up and down as needed to line up the shocks.
