Rear tire, maximum size for stock 2001 H-D RKC ?

I would guess that this has been covered before, but......I'd like to ask you guys what is the maximum size (width) of the rear tire that I can mount on my STOCK 2001 H-D RKC (?/?/?) ? And to have no problem during the ride, of course........

Thanks in advance.

http://65.38.172.84/forums/showthread.php?t=66062 check out this sticky. Seahag nailed this one. 150 is the biggest with minor mods. Check it out, its a good read....

Thanks TXCHOP for this link and have my excuses for this late reply since I was on my business trip. Yes, now I remember this thread, but I have forgotten......Anyway, thank you very much again.

140mm with no mods.... 2004 and later I think will get you 150 mm due to narrower belt.

200mm

You can install a 200mm rear tire if you want to spend $5k.

I saw Fat Baggers in Sturgis and boy do those fat tires on the back of a touring model look good. But the price is just crazy. I could do the install myself but no telling what the labor would be if you had someone do it. Fat Baggers were doing upgrades onsite is Sturgis. Not sure I'd want to do that and face a 1500 mile "road test" home.
