Had them on our '01 RK and no problems. Way better handling than Dunlops. Have set of Avon Venom X on our FLHTCI now.

avon tires

i have heard that they can cause alot of vibration at higher speeds. I have not experienced that. I used to run them of a softail which i had prior to this and thought that i would use them on the road king.
thanx

On my third set and have no complaints! The only problem is if you have a flat while out touring it is my experience that most Harley shops only carry the Dunlops! I have been considering Metzelers though as I hear they are really great tires also!

I had the Avon Venom on my FXDWG and loved them. No problems at any speed, and they were more responsive than the Dunlops that were on it.
