Help.....broke shock fender mount

I'm repainting my 87 glide. While removing the front fender, one of the bolts holding the fender on would not come out. I had it half way out using plenty of WD-40 when the shock mount broke, breaking out a half inch chunk of the mounting hole. Right now I've put it back on with JB weld but thats not how I like to do things. Do you think this will work (there is still plenty of good threaded hole) or do I need to replace the lower. Anyone know where I can get a right side chromed lower and not replace the set?

If there's thread left and 3 other bolts holding it on I think you will be OK. Just keep checking it and look for a new fork leg at a swap meet to replace it will at a future date.
