I HAVE SEEN A SELLER ON E-BAY SELLING SOME KIND OF GADGET FOR ABOUT $25.00 THAT WILL INABLE YOU TO RUN A 150 REAR TIRE ON A ROAD KING. HAS ANYONE SEEN THIS THING? ANY IDEA ON WHAT IT MIGHT BE?

Well, I don't know if it's the same thing or not, but my Father bought a wide tire kit off eBay for his '03 RK, that's supposed to support a 150 tire. When he replaces the current 140 Metzler, he's planning on installing the kit and a 150. It's basically just spacers, as far as I know.

I didn't think it was much for what I think is a selling price of $25.00. I'm wondering if it would be possible for you to take pictures of the hardwear in the kit and the instructions. Does your father say that the installation will be safe for operating the bike. Thanks for your help.

When he's off work, I'll call him and have him take a picture if he has a digital camera. If nothing else, I'll get the details on the "kit". He's very particular about these things, and if he's said that he's going to install it with the next tire, then I'm absolutely 100% sure it's safe.
