Question Brake caliper pad pins

I went to change the front pads on my 02 FLHT today but I dont seem to have a wrench the right size to get the pad pins out. Does anyone whow what size it is? A 1/4 is too small, so is a 6 mm but a 7 mm is too big. Looks like I will be heading to sears in the morning and it would help if I knew what size to buy. Thanks for the help.

It's a 1/4" 12 point Rob, check your socket, it's likely a 6 point, which won't work, got a long and a short socket from sears myself.
Also if you have never done this job before, it is very straight forward, but know this....the pads are loaded from the top with a strap style spring to hold pads firm and reduce rattle...so when the bolt thread is backed out the bolt will still feel tight, what is required is simply upward pressure on the pad frame and the bolt will pull right out, same going back in, hope this helps.
