first (of ohhhh so many) wtf posts
i've got a set of the ultima 58mm blind inverted forks. I could swear that when i took them apart for install that the axle clamps were flush. I'm having a problem getting the nut side (the tapered end) to sit back flush against the lower fork unit. I don't believe it's an "affix front side, tighten with the rear". What am i missing? I've tried evenly tightening front and rear but i just can't seem to get the clamp to bottom out...
If anyone who's worked on a set of these could enlighten me i'd be grateful
