pulse and shake under power

07 Dyna low rider with 50,000 miles.

Getting a very slight head shake and much more distinct pulsation, similar to an unbalanced tire when under power. As soon as throttle is backed off it quits. Also has a distinct howling from the front end whenever the bike is in motion, on or off the throttle.

I'm thinking front wheel bearings, the owners indy thinks triple tree bearings. I agree with him on the steering head bearings, there are a couple of slight flat spots turning the bars back and forth, we'll change them out for sure, but I don't see how that would cause the severe unbalanced feeling under power. Plus the noise?

Anyone have wheel bearings go bad causing a similar problem?

No interest on this but thought I'd put the end result down, hopefully it will help someone searching in the future.

Replaced steer head bearings, they were trash, but didn't solve the problem

Replaced front wheel bearings - didn't solve the problem.

Checked balance on front wheel, spin balancer. It was in balance.

Finally found the devil. Left (drive side) rear wheel bearing trashed.
