CVO rear shock question

Looking at a set of late model CVO rear non-air, adjustable rear shocks, my question is, on my 13 FLHTK the detachable passenger backrest uses the upper shock mount as the forward mount for the detachable backrest, I would think that the CVO rear shocks would be the same way, but I don't want to buy them and have them shipped here and find out that their different..Anybody have any input on this? Thanks.

plus more stuff to come much to my wife's dismay.

Answered my own question after going home from work and opening my blind eyes, the backrest mount is part of the frame/fender strut..Obviously had a brain fart..
