2011 ABS break rotor question for someone that can help

Hey Guys,

I have some new Black Ice Roulette wheels to go on my 2011 Limited that has ABS. I noticed that they have a magnet on the disc. My question is this: I want to get replacment disk from HD that have the black section in the middle and the type is called teardrop from HD. Do they have that magnet? The HD site shows for 2008 and later 11.8 inch rotor but does not mention ABS? Can anyone shed some light on this. Thanks for any help.

P.S. can't believe I had Break instead of Brake in the title and can't edit that!

That's not a magnet and it's not for the ABS. It's a semi-floating disc. The ABS sensor is in the wheel bearing. The disc has nothing to do with whether the bike has ABS or not.

Thanks RG! I have had my wheel off when I swapped front fenders and knew on the throttle side of the axle there was the black spacer with wiring for the ABS and was curious how what looked like a magnet was on the disc and all could work with the pickup where is on the axle. I guess I would be alright getting the rotors then. Thanks again.

I just got the Tear Drop rotors for my bike which has ABS and the rotors don't have anything to do with the ABS. Make sure your ABS sensor goes in the right spot agains the fork leg.
