rear tire troubles

i removed the rear wheel to replace the tire...i did everything step by step according to the manual...but now putting it back in place isnt working...i got the wheel back in, axle in place, spacers in place, washer and castle nut back on and torqued to 60 ft lbs...but the entire wheel is offset to the left...the tire is rubbing the belt and fender...ive taken it off and tried to get it right a few times and always come up with the same result...someone please help...

Do you have the spacers reversed? Not sure on your model bike, but some have different size spacers.

Sounds to me like you dont have it aligned correctly. Is the wheel sitting straight, or is it at an angle?

It is something simple - get us some pictures and let's take a look.

If the spacers are different sizes, then their placement and rotation could off set the tire easily. A misplaced spaced can move a tire a quarter inch - in tight tolerance spaces that is huge.

Get some pictures and lets take a look!!

Did you replace with the same size tire or go wider? Some models do offset to one side a little, you just may not have noticed and now a wider tire is now causing you to look closer because of the rub.
