Dunlop Elite 3 on 2006 FLSTC 3" rim

I am replacing the stock Dunlop tires on my 2006 Heritage Classic.

Looking at the Dunlop Elite 3's but the closest size to the rear D401is the 160/80B16 which recommends a 3.5" wide wheel.

Has anyone mounted one on a stock 3" wheel?

thanks,

I installed the E3 you are talking about on a 2006 SG. No problems so far. Rides great.
