Which Dunlop tire on my bike?

Greetings,

have had my FLHT almost a year.....while I am still learning about it, I have been reading hear almost all that time, I was cruizing the tire forum, and begin to wonder what tire would have been stock on my 2009 FLHT? I know its a Dunlop and have seen in advertisments that it has a wider rear tire with a different formula of rubber and the front is a large diameter.......

thanks guys.......Steve

Dunlop Elite III's, the best tire I have ever put on my bikes.

I have almost 10K on my set and there still running strong with plenty of tread left.

its an '09... it takes a Dunlop D407... 180/65x16... only tire out at the moment that fits that bike...
the front D407 was replaced by the D408, 130/80x17, so make sure u get a 408 when u change the front...

What's OEM on your '09 FLHT is undoubtedly what's still on it since no one except Dunlop makes tires in those oddball sizes.... yet.

D407F - 180/65-16 rear
D407 or D408 - 130/80-17 front

If you're shopping for rubber you won't have to look far. Dunlop *only* sells those tires through OEMs, which means H-D dealers only. And priced accordingly.
