softail and glide wheels

Well I picked up a nice used oem 9-spoke front wheel off a glide on the cheap and wanted the replace the solid wheel on my fatboy. Well through trial and error I found the differences. Yes I was able to get it on, BUT, this is the difference, on the softail wheel, the bearings are offset to the right side to offer room for the brake caliper (fatboys only have one brake),on the glide wheel there is no offset, so once installed the glide wheel is offcenter between the forks and will rub the fender. Just wanted to let those know if they where thinking of this swap.
