So i need some help

so this is what i want to do. I have a 2003 roadking that i have chopped up and turned into a little bobber. I dont want the 16 inch in the back so i want to take a 17inch front rim from a newer fatboy and put it in the back , now obviously i will have to have the on side of the hub machined to fit a sprocket properly, I am running a rear chain not a belt. So what i need to know is before i go out and buy one can someone tell me the hub offset on a 2007-2009 fatboy frontwheel. I would need 2 different measurements. One from the brakeside and one from what will be the sprocket side. i want to compare it to the stock wheel for fitment.

Thanks.....

y not use a 17" rear wheel from an '06-'07 Dyna? it uses the same 1" axle, and is 4.5" wide, so u can put a decent sized tire on it... the fat boy front wheel, uses either a .75" axle or a 25mm axle, and is only 3.5" wide... something to think about... all that machine work, or a direct bolt-on...

well i want a solid and wont a 4.5 wheel be too wide considering my 3 inch stocker with a 150 on it is already cutting it close to the fender, what is the thinnest tire i could run on a 4.5 inch wide wheel and i guess i could use a deuce wheel if it would fit. i want to stay away from a rear spoke wheel. i didnt know they made a solid for a dyna

deuce wheel would work, but u'd hafta change the axle, its a .75"... u could probably find an aftermarket wheel thats solid with a 1" axle... i thought hat since u bobbed the fender, u'd have more clearance, but i guess not, since the fender comes around the front too... alot of guys use an 18"x4.25" on the back with a 150/70x18, or the 17"x3.5" with a 140/80x17
