New wheels, 21x3.5 and 18x3.5... What tires?
Santa hooked a bad boy up.. Big Brown Truck dropped off my Weld 956 Twisted wheels today...
21x3.5 and 18x3.5... Wicked deal on 'em.. Hope to put them on this weekend or early next week.. Just need to figure out what tires. I have a 2007 Street Glide..
So, Avon Venom? Metzler ME880? Something else, new Dunlop perhaps? Give me some opinions and sizes...
Also, can I get the 150 rear on 18x3.5???

I cannot say enough about Metzler, Being an old rider, I've come up thru the times, with firestone, goodyear etc. I feel that Metzler tires are the best out there. Mainly because the will stop a speeding Harley better that anything on the road. They look good, wear good. ride good, just cant beat the Metzler tire. Anyway, just an ol farts 2 cents worth, gotta go put on my new Sampson silver bullet fishtails Santa brought. Merry Christmas fellow riders and may God Bless your home this season.

i believe all the ones you pointed out are a quality tire, i love my Dunlop Elite 3's i have heard great thing about the Metz's also..
i have my E-3"s on my 98 E-Glide and they handle great in all weather conditions that you would ride in, and are less expensive if you go to a independent shop !!
nice rims btw

I run a 120 on my 21x3.5 rim. A 150 will fit on an 18x3.5 rim also. As far as brand....... you'll get all kinds of answers. I run Metzlers.

Ditto the E3's, but I'm not sure if they have a size for these rims. Check out the Dunlop site. These tires last much longer than perhaps any other tire on the market and handle very well in wet or dry, but are only available in BW.

E-3
The E-3 has my vote. I road 1100 miles last month from LA to Frisco. in all kinds of ride conditons. that includes mist and fog and was very happy with traction and feel. I have 5k on the tires and the still look new.
Santa got me a Chatterbox with bluetooth.
Marry Xmas to all,

Great looking wheels.....
They just need some Avon Tyres, and you're
good to go....

Thanks guys.. I really appreciate the input.. So far I have found Avon Venom 41/42's and Metzler ME880's in the 120/70/21 & 150/70/18... I will check and see if Dunlop is available too.. If I have my way these wheels will be on my scoot tomorrow

Thanks guys.. It's looking like Metzler ME880's will be the choice, any idea what the difference between the ME880 and ME880XL is?
If it comes down to availability in my area / size I would settle for the Avons...
