I've got them on mine-were on there when I bought the bike. The adjustability is great. However, you only have about an inch or so of actual shock travel wherever you are in the riding range. Things are pretty smooth as long as you're in that range, but once you have used that up, the rebound will toss you off the seat. They simply don't have the range of motion an air-spring shock like the Progressive 416 and Arnott offer. I've considered looking for a remote reservoir to effectively increase the chamber size and therefore increase functional travel. More likely, I'll just replace them with something else. They are great if posing at the local watering hole is your thing. Actual riding, touring and especially rougher or uneven road surfaces will leave you feeling beat up.

I read that the Arnott only has 1" of travel on the softail set up.

I have Platinum on soft tail.
Ride is great. Can adjust up, down & firmness.
Not sure about the 1 inch comment.
Eliminated the pogo feeling going over bumps.

I think maybe geezerglide has the older type that can only feed. Don't know. I have the bleed/feed and have no complaints. A little slow on the pump up, but I can firm it up for solo curves or soften it with two up and control the rebound.

I've had my set-up for over 2 years and love it! I also have the bleed/feed system on an '06 Train. Don't think I'd ever go back to regular shocks after this.

The best part about this setup is that the firmness can be adjusted at any height. The problem that I have seen with these setups is that there are a lot of connections and sooner or later on will fail, it always seems to be one that is virtually unreachable.

Mounting
I mounted my compressor under the tranny. I got the bracket for the California canister and it fit nicely. If a fitting or tube goes bad, you only need to jack it up or remove the inner fender. The chrome one that comes with the kit is a pain but if I recall, Tex Outlaw used his stockone and mounted the valve assy. to it.

Apparently only the softail application has the 'bleed and feed'. Mine simply pumps up and you get what you get-more air=more height.

Wasn't me with the stock splash guard. When I bought my kit, they only made everything chrome and stainless. I called the owner (Oscar at that time) and asked him to have everything powdercoated black for my Train. He sent my kit a few weeks later. I thought I had something dead on my system one time, but it ended up being a broken ground connection.
BTW: my compressor is mounted (hose clamped) at the top of the trans.
