Fork oil change

Hi to everyone.

I'd like to change the fork oil on my 2006 FXSTBi (nightrain). Question is it just a case of undoing large fork nuts drain out old oil at the bottom of the fork leg and refil ?

Thats about it, just don't slam the wrench into the tank.

pour in a little fresh oil bfore you install new screws/washers(i prefer the phillips head over the metric allen). round the amount off to the next full ounce. i lke race tech 15wt. my buddy swears by the heavier amsoil.

I just changed mine last night as part of my 20,000 mile service. I couldn't believe the improvement it made.
