Spacer to mount a 142/150 on a '92 bagger?

Hello all,
I found a thread that shows a Pingle spacer to mount a 142 on a 2003 and up bagger.
What about us guys with old fart bikes?
I would like to go bigger on the "old" '92 EGC.
Thanks,
Mike

Check these guys out. Way less money than Pingal, as well. They seem to have every size/ version you might need.

I found this one: http://www.vulcanworks.net/store_4/p...3&cat=2&page=1

The question I have now is, will this spacer work to mount a 142/150 on a '92 if I ream the hole the .75" axle hole to accomodate a 1.0" axle?

Thanks.
Mike

OK, I'm confused. Do you have a late style wheel on a '92 EG? Are you using a late wheel with an early pulley? Or do you have an early wheel coverted to a 1" axle?
I don't understand what you have, but I'm bettin' that Vulcan already makes what you need w/o your having to modify it. they have literally a dozen variations of early/late wheel/pulley/axle combos listed. I would email them with your details and let them tell you the part number you will need.
Good Luck!

I run the Vulcan spacer. Excellent fit. Call 'em, they're great to work with.

Unless I was told wrong, don't the Electra Glides have 1.0" axles front and rear?

from further reading, it appears the '92 EGC has a .75" rear axle...
So, on from here.
Guess I need to spend more quality time with the Old Man, eh?
Find out all the little things....
