Lyndall Z Pads ROCK!!!

Just took the bike out for a ride after rebleeding the brakes. MAN, what a difference. Best $80 I have spent so far. Now I am thinking I would enjoy going to new suspension insted of kicking the motor up to 95 inches.

I've got my Z Pads in my saddlebags now. Got them at Daytona for $60 and can't wait to put them on when I do my oil change. I've heard nothing but good about them.

I have Z-pads, and they do what I want them to...stop the bike. Are they miracle pads? Nope, just brake pads that keep the wheels clean (this is good). I think their stopping power is only a little better than stock, but both will lock the rear tire...and, I don't have dual front rotors, so I'm always looking at what's in front of me, and where I'm going...nothing worse than finding out you don't have enough space to stop...properly.

Now when you have the Z-pads, Progressive suspension, Metzeler tires, and a kick ass powerful engine...then the package is complete...let the fun begin.

I installed a set of Z Plus pads on the front of my bike 2 weeks ago. They do make a noticeable difference in braking power.

z pads stopping power

been running z pads for a while now. you have to be careful when using the back brake by itself. the pads will lock up the tire much quicker than the HD pads did. do some test runs to see how they perform.

Thanks for the info. Locking up the back brakes is not a good thing.

we installed the z-pads on a customers fxdx at work, per his request. we also did braided lines, and the difference is very impressive. I know the lines help a lot too, so not sure which helped the most........

Yea Buddy they do...
I previously ran them on the front only...Finally got around to adding them to the rear...
Great stopping ability and lack of the dust...makes the cleaning easier...

I got mine on Ebay for $39 a pair incuding shipping. I do wonder what braided lines would add.

I got mine also to get rid of that annoying scraping sound the stock pads cause at low speed or just pushing the bike around.

Are any of you running their rotors? I need new ones, and am seriously considering them. There is another company that is just getting started, that looks to have the same technology called w8less rotors. I talked to one of the guys the other day, and they sound like they use the same ceramic material. They sound nice, but it would be nice to hear from someone who actually has them before I shell out $800 for rotors and pads

Installed them year ago. Brakes started squeaking and haven't stopped yet. Stopping about the same as stock or worse but no dust.
