Looking for take off Handlebars, Cables and
brake line from a 07 or later Street Bob.
I'm told this is the most popular Dyna sold and someone has to have changed to Apes. I need the stock bars and cables to install on my SuperGlide. The FXD stock bar height is just too low because my arms are short and they are killing my back when I put on many miles.

Thanks, I appreciate that.
What I am hoping to find is someone who is changing to Apes from the stock FXDB cause they will have to replace All the parts I need to change mine out and IF we work out a deal then get everything I need (minus of course the wire extension kit ) and they get to recover some of their cost.
The handle bars are the lowest cost part of the project and while, like I said, I appreciate your offer, I don't want to try and find it piece by piece.

If you offer to trade what you have to someone who wants apes for his bike, you could at least get free labor for the job. If you are looking for the whole mess free of charge and then you want to sell what you have - shame on you.

Yes, those would fit my '09 SuperGlide, I'm pretty sure.
Most of the '07 and up stuff like that is fairly standard.
I do need cables and brake line 'cause the ones on the stock 6'' rise buckhorns will not reach.

Sorry, I don't quite understand why you would try and shame on me.
I am not trying to get something for nothing.
Although I have in the past accepted with gratitude (I am living on a very tight budget fron SSDI and must scrimp to buy any extras) parts from forum members that have sent them to me gratis or for payment of shipping fees, I do not seek to get them that way.
If I was still able to work I would just walk into the the local dealer and plunk down the over charged price they want for accessories and think nothing of it. But with my situation the way it is I must try and save every dollar I can if I want to modify my bike to fit my needs.
Please explain why you (who must be a RUB) feel this is shameful.

I am sorry, i have gotten played here before. the way you had it worded was suspicious(to me). I still feel that if you offered to trade what you had for a stock setup, you would get people willing to ride 700 miles to do so. That is how I would have worded it.

Just so you know, his WG bars are 1.25" diameter and will reqquire appropriate risers. They narrow down to 1" at the hand controls, so you are good there. The cables and lines from the Wide Glide will work for you.

Okay, but I don't know what anyone would want with the stock setup off my FXD. That's why I didn't offer them as trade.
They'll probably sit on the shelf in my shed forever unless I find someone who needs them.
