I am trying to find a bike [evo]for a winter project, i want something with a good motor and trans,[definitely]but one you' or your friends have taken apart and lost interest in. Or maybe you know someone wishing to get a bike out of their garage.I am retired, and i need and want to stay busy this winter as i do every winter.Please don't throw some swap meet pieces . at me as i need one i can follow by a shop manual please help me if you will !!!thank you for your time

if my typing is bad ...i am in a cast on my right arm for awhile yet, but thought it would be a good idea to start my hunt for a bike

You might want to look into this place and see if you can find something that would work.

I have had some sucess with the High Bid lately but the Insurance Companies or however seem to think that Savaged bike are still worth top dollar.

karstan......how were they on shipping ?average. I saw a couple fxd models i liked . i' get alittle skittish when i deal ...........other than person to person.Have you bought many bikes this way?I couldn't find shipping anywhere [how they figure it] any other tips you can give me. I want to try this auction buying. i can build anything. just that first one. i guess. thanks for any help my friend I have two nice restored british bikes.i want to keep ......if i can get into an auction like this .it will keep mama happier .bsa_bob
