WTB - Kuryakyn Hidden Horns
I'm looking to see if anyone has a set of Kuryakyn Hidden Horns, model number 7740.
If you have a set that you removed and want to sell..........let me know.
Thanks,
Steve

I'm getting ready to remove my set and send them back. Only one horn works right out of the box.

If you are just looking to hide your horn and clean up that side, then move your stock horn under the battery box. I did this, and it worked great.

Any pictures?
That's what I'm looking to do............hide the horn and clean up the left side of the motor and open it up.

It would be hard to get a good pic. But all you need to do is extend the horn wires to the length you need. I ran mine along side the same track under the tank as the wiring harness runs. Then ran the wires through the frame by the battery box to the horn. I made a flat bracket to bolt the horn to using the 2 existing bolts. The flat bracket extends 1 inch beyond and has a 1/4-20 hole tapped into it. Take out the battery and you will see a hole already in the bottom of the box. Hold the horn underneath and line up the tapped hole and secure with a 3/4 inch button head with a lock washer or loctite. Oh, and have the wires hooked to the horn already, otherwise they are a bear to get on. Point the horn forward and tighten up, drop battery back in and go. Should take about an hour, I have done 4 now.

Installation of horns too easy
After reading the install process of hidden horns I like mine even more..Installation.. 5 minutes... 3 if yolu don't open the beer.
All wires, hoses, motors..all self contained. remove 5/16 inch acorn nut ..remove stock horn and bracket.. replace with new horns, tighten the acorn nut, plug in wires.. blow the horn.
Have your girlfriend install while you and the wife have a beer.

I've been eyeballing those for a while trying to decide. Did you get the 15 or 16" ones?

Now make them so they are not seen...........then I'll be interested.
Hidden, out of sight, but loud air horns...........that's what I'm looking for.
Steve
