Talking RevPerf Hotline and "Scott, I need it NOW!" Thread

In the ever ongoing journey to big inches and ultimate satisfaction this thread is being created. Seriously, I wanted to create a portal to bring new updates, offer advice, take advice and so on and so on. Please feel free to openly participate and thanks so very much for everyone's continued business whether it be directly with the staff at RP or any of our fine vendors. Every day that we come to work is a great day because everyone here truly loves what they do and is first and foremost an enthusiast. I would also like to personally offer a note of appreciation to Mr. Price for volunteering for the, at times, thankless job of hosting a BBS. Check back in regularly as new stuff is posted!

Thanks again!

I like the idea Brian......Dr. Nallin's advice thread. You offering free financial and dating advice too? Seriously though.....You have a great bunch of guys working for you. I certainly value your advice that you have given me with my build. Keep up the excellent work and I, for one, will be checking back to see how this thread progresses. I am always looking for more knowledge from the people that do this for a living.

I tell ya, there's a couple of 98 inchers Rev. Perfs. that I ride with (and you'all know who you are) and I got a lot of respect for these motors. Pound fer pound they sure beat the h*ll out of my 95 incher. I for one am glad you guys are making these kits so readily available. Greatest thing for the twinkie since rubber mounting.

Revperf Cylinder Prep Oil! $11.95

Developed in the Revperf dyno lab to improve initial break-in and promote even longer ring life. This is a full synthetic lubricant that reduces start-up streaking that can occur with plated bores. It has also shown to vastly lower the ring seat time so you can get the hammer dropped quicker! If you are installing one of our kits or you are a shop that installs them regularly call today for your bottle!

Hydro-Rev rockers

I'm tying to decide which rockers to use in my build. Has anyone used the Revolution Hydro-Rev 1.675 rockers? I saw them listed in their E-Bay store for 199 but they had none listed for sale, their web page sells them for 328. Are they a hot item and is their somewhere I can get a good deal on them? Thanks

I have a set that just came out of a 98" build I'll sell for $85 shipped. About 2,000 miles on them.

Question on 107" Kit

I have an '03 95" Dyna Lowrider that I plan to install a SE 4-3/8" crank in (SE Part#23600-00).

I currently am running a Woods 6HG cam with SE Performance Heads and SE hi Compression Forged Pistons (10.5:1CR)

When I install the 4-3/8 Crank I am looking at installing the Revperf 107" kit, however I'm not sure what compression ratio it would give. The website indicates it gives 10.5:1CR with Stock Heads -- what would the CR be with my SE Performance Heads? -- I really don't want to go much above 10.5:1. Are there other pistons available for SE performance heads?

Also, is the 107" kit the largest available that doesn't require case boring?

A 107" does require case boring.

Jump up to the V Twin Engine mods section for any other questions.
