Music to my ears, best speakers I've heard

For those of you that are looking for the best sound that you can get, I got the answer for you.
J&M 7.25" speakers are by far the best speakers I have heard. I saw Dr. V-TWIN had got some in and gave him a call. Shawn was a great help. Took his time and gave me his opinion which was right on the money. Yes this is a little plug for Dr. V-TWIN, but in my eyes they deserve it. Good price and lots of information. First impressions are the greatest and Shawn made a big impression.
I've had Hogtunes, they were better than factory. I've heard Hawg-Wired speakers but didn't like the price tag.
These J&M 7.25" speakers are like listening to a really good car system even at 75 mph. You hear the highs as well as the lows. To put it to you in simple terms, I was smiling from the time I left to the time I got back.
Just thought I'd put my observation out there for anyone that was looking for speakers that will blow you away.

John

Money and amp answers

The cost was double of what Hogtunes were, but the sound is easley triple the quality.

They will hook up to any amp, I believe they are rated at 140 watts.

The best way to get better information is to give Shawn a call, he can answer any and all questions. You can reach him at 888- DR-V-TWIN.

3 way

Give them a call it is a toll free number. If it's out there he will most likely have it.

Got any pictures of them installed with the outer fairing off?

I'm curious how much of a tight fit these must be over the standard 5.25" speakers.

I have Hogtunes all around, but I'm finding that I need more sound in the front on the highway..........and these 7.25" speakers might fit the bill.

Space for speakers

I did not take any pictures but Dr. V-Twin has the pictures. Do a general search using J&M 7.25 speakers.

By the way, just got back from my Ironbutt ride (1000 miles in under 24 hours.) the speakers were all I could ever ask for. They were outstanding. Sounded great at 75 MPH, sounded just as good at 80 MPH. I was more impressed with these speakers than any other.

Is an additional amplifier required or can they be hooked directly to the HD/HK stereo?

After reading/ following this thread, most of the people that have these 7.25" speakers do not have any amp and they are powering these speakers directly...sounds like there are no complaints!

Just a plug for Dr. V-Twin...great service...Shawn knows his stuff...best price out there & free shipping...I received speakers, tweeter pod & Dr. V-Twin free T-shirt in about 3 days! You can't beat that with a stick! B.

speakers in helmet

Anyone have luck with a nice helmet that has built in speakers? (getting the same quality as one of these multi-speaker setups)

100% with you John. I just had these speakers installed last week, and all I can say is WOW!!!!!!! . Shawn was AWESOME to deal with. He explained everything to me, and I received the speakers 3 days after I placed my order - and with a kickass t-shirt to boot!!!!! I HIGHLY recommend these speakers. You can't go wrong!
