His wife didn't like it much though when he opened the door and I beat him over the head with the pipes a few times. Don't worry, I didn't hurt him, just knocked a little sense into him.

Greetings,
You will probably hear from more than one "old timer" here. If not, then I will go this one alone.
I recognize you are excited about your new wheels. I have followed your posts since you got here. Everything from the easy-off on your new bike to the new found Bad Guy image where the guys on rice are some sort of enemy.
You are 38 years old, fresh out of an MS Class, brand new rider, brand new bike, and suffer from a SERIOUS misconception of what The Wind is all about.
Again, I know you are excited and you should be, but take it as simple words of time tried advice, you are headed for a major fall.
Buying a Harley did not transform you into some guy you saw in a movie made in 1969. Your attitude is beyond new ownership. Some of your stories in the less than month you have been riding are indicitive of folks that tend to get hurt.
Do you have any idea of how many Harley Riders here have a past that includes "Brand X"? It is not about The MOCO, it is about The Wind. It is about the time spent in it and the things learned along the way.
You my friend have a lot to learn. There are a few ways of doing so. One of the best, is by listening.
Chill out some before you get yourself hurt, and your stuff taken. There are many ways your stuff can be taken. Don't let blind arrogance and lack of experience be the cause.
Based on most of your posts, I would not consider riding with you at this time.
There are folks here that ride rice that I would ride with due to the man on it.
Harley cannot transform your heart. Not every man on a Harley, has heart. Many who ride rice do.
Sit back and listen some. There is much for you to learn.
Respectfully
JimmyK
