"Do these chaps make my butt look big?".... sigh...

Alright, I knew that title would catch your attention. And as those who know me might have guessed, yep, Badger has a rant. So here it goes, sit back, hold on and shut up because as usual its brutally honest. Some of you will like it, some of you won't, some of you will laugh, and some of you will go sobbing right to the kitchen where you can grab the Ben and Jerry's and drown your sorrows in double chocolate fudge. Don't worry fruitcake, buy bigger saddlebags and no one will see the 4.7 inches of assfat hanging from either side of your new Mustang seat that you just HAD to get everyone's opinion on before buying!

That's right, this thread is about opinions... and when they really DON'T matter. Are you a ***, yuppie, dickhead, wannabe, RUB, poser? If you have to ask this question then the answer is simple.... YES YOU ARE!!! Now shut up and just deal with it loser. Look, here's the bottom line when asking a question, if its an opinion, why not ask this question first: "Is it a decision that I alone have to live with either way?" If you can answer 'yes' to this, and to many questions you will, then don't ask the question. Save everyone here the time and save yourself the embarrassment, because whether you know it or not, you're making yourself look like a total dimwitted moron.

Here's an example of questions you should NOT ask in this place, unless of course you like looking like a dumbass.

"Am I a RUB?" (RUB can be substituted for yuppie, dickhead, poser, ***, wannabe, or lameass buttkisser.) Regardless, this question doesn't need to be asked, if you feel it does, read above, there's your answer.

"Should I buy chaps?" Honestly now, who really gives a sh!t? Now if you're a hot chic with a sweet looking ass, then you don't need to ask this question either, just buy them, put them on with nothing underneath, grab your digital camera and submit your entries immediately to the EAYOR forum.

"Should I be allowed in the EAYOR forum?" If you have to ask, the answer is NO.

"What color helmet should I buy?" (Helmet could be substituted for bike, leather, shirt... basically if you're asking what color of anything you should buy, you need a good old fashioned head dunking in a public urinal because somehow you missed this idiotic humilation in your younger years... and if you didn't you still need this anyway.)

There are many opinions that can be asked that are really beneficial, but the above are an example of things that make you look stupid when asking. So just ask yourself before hand, "Am I going to sound like a dumbass when posting this?" And if you have to publically ask that very question then you just need to be shot because we don't need you in the gene pool. You're probably the same a$$hole that drives a minivan with a Live to Ride, Ride to Live sticker on the rear window.

Yes, there are questions asking for opinions that are really beneficial to everyone here. Here's one of my favorite examples:

"What is your favorite path to take when going to _______?" People have all kinds of ways for going to certain places. Some like to make frequent stops and check out all the cool shops, bars, sights, etc along the way, and others just like to feel the wind in their hair and experience as little cage presense on the road as possible. All opinions of this nature benefit everyone.

I once believed that there is no such thing as a dumb question.... but having read some of the things posted in here it all falls back on another famous cliche' of mine.... "Hey anything is possible." Even dumb questions apparently.

So when asking for opinions, just remember its YOU that has to live with whatever decision you decide to make. If you trust everyone's opinion on getting that 'rainbow' tattoo you might live to regret it later on you silly b!tch.

Well this concludes Badger's rant on asking idiotic questions. Are you offended? Maybe.... Do I give a sh!t? No, I don't, how's that for cold huh? See, the funny thing about opinions is that we all have them, but when we put too much faith in another's opinion we lose that part of free will within ourselves.

Also, just a quick end note, before asking a question you might want to do a search on the topic within this forum first. That way in case someone was stupid before, you don't get put in the dipsh!t catagory with the rest of them.

I think we should close the forum & have this post on the door.
It pretty much summerizes what all feel but could never say.
Kudos to Badger for getting it out finally.

BTW should I get the red helmet to go with my black chaps?
& if I do, will I be a RUB?

Hey Chris, when I ride should I tuck my pant legs in my boots? I seen someone do that and it looked really cool, would I look cool if I did it?

Oh yeah, almost forgot to ask....

Should I get the big Harley Davidson patch for my vest or the small one? How about pins, should I put the pins on my vest starting from the top down or start at the bottom and work up?

Any help would be great http://www.americanbikerevents.com/f...ons/harhar.gif http://www.americanbikerevents.com/f...s/flipoff2.gif
