I have many comments but I'll only list a couple:

1) J.D. Power lists Countrywide Mortgage as the company with the highest customer satisfaction. They hole my mortgage and they are impossibly difficult to deal with from where I sit.

2) Victory is significantly better than HD or Honda in "product." Well, ok. Personally I don't need focus groups to tell me what I want/like.

I don't think they are telling you what you want or like as you have made that very clear. The great thing is you own a bike and you made your choice.
Not sure why the pot needed to be stirred.
Better yet I'm sure you can e mail J.D. Power and let them know your thoughts.

I received one of the survey forms to fill out and return. I rated my '06 Road Glide and dealership high in most all categories because I've had a very good experience with both.

I'm glad to see the motorcycle industry's customers being asked about their ownership experience - it should help the industry to know what their customers think about their products and services.

It's good to see that the US manufacturers came out pretty well in the survey, but there is always room for improvement. Obviously some owners didn't have as good an experience as I have.

I looked at the Victory line before deciding to get my Road Glide. They have a very good dealer here in town just a few blocks from the H-D dealer. Either would have been a good choice but the RG fit my needs better.

I own both brands. like certain things about both. I never am afraid to say what I like and what I dont. I dont read much from jd powers and never will. I bought my first harley because it was a good buy and I liked the sound. I worked on it alot and learned an awful lot from that. I bought my first victory because I took it for a ride, and liked the ride. didnt even ask jd powers. I think the entire harley vs victory is alot like a dog chasing its tail...

I also have one of each, and love riding them both.
They both have their strengths and weaknesses.

Such as...?

I could/do have my guesses, but particularly curious on this from you, as you have 2 seemingly somewhat comparable "cruiser" type bikes. (As opposed to 2 different purpose bikes, i.e. the Vic. and a Glide...)
