S&S intake for Victory Freedom Vtwin..

Has anyone installed the new intake and how difficult was it to install? Is it different for the 92ci compared to the 100ci?

What improvements have you gotten? Better mileage, Rear wheel horsepower and torque? What does it feel like at the throttle and on the seat?

Any first hand expereince and thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

The concensus so far is that the PMRT intake is the best option. Eaglecat and S&S at a close second. It's the same intake for each displacement option. If you search the VMC forum you'll find some dyno charts too.

I just ordered the Eaglecat and Lloydz VFC module. Supposedly you can't ge the S&S except through an authorized dealer (per agmt between Vic and S&S) and I don't like the looks of the PMRT (stupid reason, I know).

Had my dealer do the install. As for performance increase, WOW! The opinion offered about the PMRT being better has yet to be substantiated in a side by side comparison. I would offer that the S&S is better on a 100/6, as so far, my dyno sheet has the highest numbers posted of a stock 100/6 motor with that mod alone (w/stage1 slipons). I have before and after dyno graphs posted at THEVMC. To summarize, with just the stage 1 kit, I was getting 79hp and 99ft/lb, with the S&S, I'm getting (so far) 98 hp, and 103.5 lb/ft. And all that torque comes up early and stays almost out to redline. Needless to say, I'm quite happy with it.
