Well I'm torn between this and a used 2007 Street Glide for 10k cheaper.

I like this bike a-lot, this is the first bike they have made that I think is gonna give Harley a real run for the money. When they came out with the Vision I was like so what. Even though this is essentially a Street glide copy, so far on paper it is so much better. It comes with all the stuff I've been changin on my bike since I got it: floating rotors, good suspension, low seat height, nice seat, E-3's, no drive by wire (some like I cannot stand it) good price. I can't wait to test ride and see if its as good as it looks.

The filler cap is on the forward right side of the tank

A good friend of mine in Alabama bought the first one sold in the US. Victory has his pic on their web site.
He's really liking it so far.

Yeah, I'm thinking I would love to go with it as it feels REAL good sitting on it they couldn't let anyone ride it for some factory contract reason. But I found out they are adding ABS and some other goodies for 2011 so I typically buy the first year and get that "working out the bugs" first release issues. So I'm gonna sit back and admire it from a 07 Street Glide for a year or two and see how they go. The motor is really there being a 106 and the frame is so well distributed its real nice. Its like a 800 cc bike, it just feels that light. If you sit on it and take your hands off the handle bars you can actually rock & flip the bike back and forth using just your legs and it never feels like its going to fall over.
Very impressive! But $24k? OUCH yes 18k plus the options that you just gotta have. Even if you go easy on them. I'll bank the extra 10K of payments and down grade to the 07 SG and pick up a used one later on.

$6000 in OPTIONS man what are you putting on it GOLD EVERYTHING????
I got an '09 Vision and with adding a CB/Intercom system, extra power outlet in the tour pack, Stage 1 level 1 exhaust upgrade, passenger floor board risers, and a mirror for the wife was only like $1799 extra....

Thats what I was wondering, 24k in options? Unless their marking it up. Anyway our local Victory dealer got their 1st ones in last night and I got down there to take a look. They won't have their demo until next week, but I can tell you I got to walk around and sit on the bike and it seems to be a real nice bike and looks better in person. The bike picks up off the kick stand real easy and feels extremely light and balanced, the floor boards are long and wide, and for my frame 5'10" fits me extremely well. The seat which from a design point is very well engineered but a little cheap looking in person, has good back support, narrow in front, and I was able sit on bike completely flat footed. The saddlebags seem a little deceiving, wide but shallow, half the storage is in the lid. Handlebars are adjustable, hand controls are typical euro-***, and cruise/radio buttons very small gonna be hard to use w/gloves. Thats about all I can say until the test ride, oh that and all 6 bikes they have are sold.
