looking for feed back

There is a Vic dealer local so we have been tuning them. The 08 bikes are not making the power from the early versions. ( was told compression we decreased to 8.7.1) Testing stage 1 bikes from 07 to the 08's So they have been adding cams , however they are picky about pipes. Have a 08 that we are installing a RPW thor pipe and removing the shot gun victory pipes and going to retune the PC. Any one out there using this pipe?? We became a dealer as I have tow other customers that want this pipe as well. They claim it is great... I have never tuned a bike with one.

Part of the problem you may be running into with lower HP is the TPS and A/F ratio settings could be off.

The other thing is when you change the intake and exhaust you get nothing out of it without the correct down loads.

Since you are not an authorized Victory dealer you cannot get the Stage 1 downloads.

Your next bet is the S&S download.

Bike had the stage 1 flash done at dealer. TPS is correct as well afr settings are spot on at each and every %. Customer is getting new pipe and I will re tune for him. I spent so time on the phone with lloyds very helpful guy. He has the new arlen ness a/c set up on it as well. As far as down loads I fail to see how that matters much at all. With the PC III I am retuning the bike front and rear for afr and timing f/r. Bike runs well but peak number wise lower than he wanted. Will see how the exhaust does to bring up the numbers. Again after speaking with llyods I am not off from what he has seen with his cams and that pipe.

Sorry I missed the part in your original post about the PC. My mistake.

Lloyd is a very very helpful guy. We've had a few motors that we put together with his parts.

Yes he was very straight forward no BS. Honest even about his fuel pack. He came right out and said that there are kits that it does not work very well on . In my book that is a straight up guy!!!

My brother just changed over his 2007 Kingpin , put in Loyd's low TQ cams , had the shot gun pipes removed and installed the RPW 2 into 1 pipe . P.C. 111 and dynoed tuned . 106hp & 106 TQ . Here is the problem he is having .... low end lag . goes great once the RPM gets up there , but no grunt down low ... Yikes . His tuner figures maybe he needs a different baffle in the pipe to make it work better ,. Not sure as his bike ran alot better with the shot gun Victory twin pipes then the 2 into 1 .

Any input would be great .

Well I did not install these cams, so I have an idea that they are not timed correctly.

Victory dealer installed them and it was checked at another Victory dealer a week later . He checked it over and the cams were installed correct. Still having low end pipe lag . Any chance the 2 into 1 pipe did not come with the correct baffle ...??? WM1 Loyd's cams , 2007 Victory Kingpin

I have been in touch with Loyd and you can have the cam 180 out and it kill the power. These new bikes are lower compression also so take that into account. Would have to see the dyno sheet to see how the tq is building in the low end. Yours seems to be making the correct power number wise. The RPW made a great increase over the shot gun pipes.

Ya , he said it got it checked to make sure it is not out 180 . He doesn't really start pulling untill 3800 rpm . At 60mph in 5th gear it lags badly . Not so good for passing cars . Like I said once he gets the rpm up , it goes like a rabbit , never had problems until the cams and pipe was installed .

Put it this way , I have a 2008 Ultra with a 103 kit in it and he can't catch me if we are both do 60 mph in 5th and pin it !!

Yikes ..!!!

Any suggestions would be great .

He has been in contact with Loyd , I guess he had a S&S program that was in the bike with the Holeshots , Apparently you have to put a different download in the bike to make it run at the bottom end . Sounds like Loyd is helping him threw it and should be smoken by the weekend !!

Good to see guy's stand by there product and help out !!!!!!!!

What is cold cranking compression? What should it be with than cam? May give answer to if the cam installed wrong.
