Victory

I have to say, Victory is turning up the heat. Initially I never even took a second look at these bikes but I have to say that these are impressive machines for 2010. I don't like the Vision at all but the Cross Country looks like a nice touring bike.

Some people don't want a Harley. Thats hard to get through to some people. Its not all about money either.

Adjustable handlebars, Harley would never go for that. It would cut into there accesories sales. 25% more storage in the bags too. I am curious if they are easier to open and close. They say hinged.

What guy thought up the saddlebags on Harley? Now here come the people, I can close them just fine. Forgot about ever improving anything.

I am torn. I was going to buy a Vision 100th Edition, and had one held for me until my rental tenants decided to bail out.
I like being individual (I own a Peugeot) and I am not a follower. With that being said I have always known that if I ever owned a MC, that it would have to be a HD. I don't know why. No one in my family, or anyone that I have ever known has owned a HD.
I like the individual uniqueness of Victory's. I don't like the plastic. I don't like the cheapness of some of the parts (plastic vs. metal).
Obviously, what you ride is up to you. We all like to be unique yet fit into a group. HD has the mass appeal to do both, despite its shortcomings.

Sorry, but if a Victory was a chick, I'd throw her outta bed before I barfed--Those things are BUTT-UGLY! But then again, so are MOST custom bikes nowadays. There is nothing better looking than a basically stock Davidson, with a few of the ugly parts (footpegs, grips, etc) replaced with custom ones.

In YOUR opinion.

Just a little help Diamond...how are ya by the way and how is the pimp...roasting customers tires I suspect...

Anyway the XC and XR bags are 21.3 gallons total...which is just about the size of 2 - 5 gallon buckets hanging off each side of the scoot. They are; weatherproof, lockable, quick release and one hand operating. And the only plastic on the bike is in the hardbags, the fairing in the XC and the cheese wedges...Maybe the guy above was talking about the Vision...

To each his own...

... thank God for diversity though. The Victory is a little too "George Jetzon" for me; but that may be the very thing the next guy is attracted to. Its all good.

Me: old school, Chevy pickups, Cadillacs and Harley-Davidson motorcycles.

Doing great. Porti should be done in about three weeks. Next bike is going to be the Cross Country and will get the Victory Lane Cycles treatment. I've already got drawings of what I'm going to do!!!

Hey DICKey! ,
Nothing lOOks like a Harley. I am sure happy my Vision doesn't run like one though. After my 2007 Ultra I will never ever go there again. You see motorcyling is something I do not who I am. I care less about projecting an image than the experience. I dont go to bars or ride with groups. Even when I rode the Ultra I had a hard time with what seemed the average H-D rider. They just did not ride, there bikes were sure clean and purdy though. The best thing about harleys, in my opinion, is how they look. Great looking bike and from a design standpoint developed from a long history. You can not take that away. Everything else is up for grabs.
