Is the new Victory Vision better than E-Glide
I want to stir up some opinions (or maybe some arguments) so who thinks the Vicory Vision will give the Electra Glide a run for it's money. I am a happy Electra Glide owner, but those Visons are gorgeous and so modern. I think Harley should take some advise and update the ol Glide. At least add an oil cooled motor ( if not water cooled) and more rounded edges. They are using the same bags from the 60's for God's sake! What do you think? E-Glide or Vision as the ultimate tour machine ( Goldwing's and BMW's welcome too)

I think the Vision is quite possibly the most hideous looking motorcycle I've ever seen. It could be the best performing scoot in the world and I just couldn't get past the looks.

Same lines as the 60's because Harley's classic styling is timeless. The Vision will look dated in just a few years (as do the G-Wings & BMWs).
If Harley starts taking styling queues from the Vision I'll

I'd try it to see how it drives but I can't picture one in my driveway.

Due to the lack of dealers for servicing, I can't see myself owning one in the near future.
When I think of Victory, I just can't help thinking about the Edsel. It was advanced for it's time too.

The Vision has a look only its momma could love--and she's blind! I'm not a Victory basher, by all reports they make a quality product, but the Vision design doesn't work. It's like those people in the 1930's that thought we'd all be in flying cars by 2000 came back and made a motorcycle.

To each his own, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Would I buy a vision? Probably not. Will Harley radically redesign the E-Glide? I highly doubt it (why mess with a perfectly good model). If Harley was to make a modern looking Tourer, I believe it would be loosely based on the VRSC family and be a completely different and new bike. That way they could sell to more types of riders.

WTF?
Looks like a concept vehicle to me! Can't believe their is even a slim change of seeing one of them on the street!
Looking at the bike, I bet I can count all the mods you can do on my left hand!... Middle finger!
Not for me... Then again... to each their own, just ride on the other side of town please!

HaHa... Just asked my 8 year old boy to look at "this" bike and his only reply was... "It looks like an ugly crotch rocket"
OK so you know how I feel about it.

I think you all have this wrong, I do not think Victory was going after the Harley tour bike rider, they just to loyal to Harley to steal away, I think they were going after the Goldwing riders.
Why else would they build a bike that looks alike a snowmobile and wheels?

Goldwing, yamaha, suzuki, harley, I agree that they all have their place in the market, but I think this bike is ridiculous.

"They are using the same bags from the 60's for God's sake!"
To me, the more stuff on a Harley that looks like it's from the 60's - the better
Also, since no one mentioned it yet, ........Victory's ugly
