This has been a 5 year work in progress that's pretty much done.
Though I'll probably find something else to do sooner or later....they are never really
done are they?

The bike is an 04 softail standard. 5 speed.
The engine is a 117 with Dan Baisley pro street heads, Baisley hybrid injection.
Darkhorse crank.

The paint was designed and painted by J E Illusions. It's a one of a kind paint set.
J E Illusions also stretched the tank.

The cases, jugs and heads were powder coated gloss black by Sumax.
Heads and jugs were then sent to Diamond cut.

The wheels, rotors and pulley are Performance Machine Villain series.
The hand controls, master cylinder, switch controls hydraulic clutch and brakes are also PM.

The rear end is also a PM Phatail 240 kit.

Arlen Ness forward controls. Roland Sands Design air filter.

D&D slip on exhaust.

Most of the accessories were done during the first 3 years. The paint, engine work
and Phatail kit were done last winter.

Lucky I was working a lot of overtime while I was doing this.
I'm not rich, I'm a construction worker and it took a lot of OT to pull this off.

Really nice work. The paint is awesome, if I could offer one word of advise, gotta drop the a$$ end about 2", too much space between the fender and the tire. I had Sumax do the jugs (powder coat, shave fins, polish) on an '85 FXWG about 15 years ago and they are still holding up great.

Now THAT is a sweet softail. Nice work, great paint. I would surely lower the shocks a little and bring the azz end down some imho, but its a very nice ride.

Beautiful ride. Stunning. Love the Headwinds headlight. Agreed though...if you can..I'd lower it in the back. The ass end sticks up way too far up off the rear tire. It could be perfect.

Take care of that looker....
