Nacelle on a Fatboy? Pics Anyone?

Wasn't sure what forum to post this in. I've seen a few pics with
FatBoy's with the Nacelle upgrade. I was just curious if you guys
/gals could post some pics you might have. I seriously looking at
doing this upgrade to me '03 FatBoy and want a good idea what
it's going to look like...

Any pics or tips & tricks would be appreciated!

Fabulous!

Have you thought of adding the passing lamps?

Originally, that was my plan. But now I am having second thoughts, I might just use the Kurakyn turn signal relocation kit. I really like the look of the front end now, with the exception of the turn signal. I need to sleep on it.

Check out J and P cycles online www.jpcycles.com, they have a great nacelle kit with a teardrop shaped headlight, similar to the Indian Chief shape. They call it a "Ford" headlight design. I saw a Fatboy with that headlight and it really was killer.

augie -- looks nice!! the nacelle really accents the other chrome you have added to the frnnt end. from the pics it looks like you chromed the lower sliders, and added the chrome beer cans (upper covers). my baby is also a 03 fatty, and i was hesitant in adding the nacelle since i have the passing lamps. was thinking the front would be too "busy." still not sure. you have a clean front end look going, so i think it's awesome. i have a buddy who rides a '02 fatty and he relo'd the turn signals to the front forks. looks nice. would recommend going away from the amber covers and using clears, or the smokes, as not to diminsh the chrome impact.

alright, i'll shut up now with my opinions. bottom line, you have a bitchin' ride, so enjoy and continue making it YOURS.

The recessed trim rings are worth getting along with the nacelle too I think. i think the passing lamps and their recessed trim rings go well too but then again i would since that's what i did to mine....

Logical,

Your pics are the ones that got me turned onto the nacelle and passing lamps. I saw them in another thread and got seriously interested in doing it to my bike... :-)

Augie P,

Nice ride Bro, did you use the Chrome Fork Covers or is that the replacement Chrome Front End?

Thanks, I think it is a must do on a Fatboy. That is the replacement chrome front end. I had it done before I even brought the bike home.

I put the H-D nacelle on my '03 Heritage Classic. Turned out awesome. I would highly recommend putting it on. You will have no regrets. Do the chrome upper and lowers and the look is stunning!

This may sound pathetic but I picked up my Chrome trim ring
today. This is to hold me over untill I can get the Nacelle and
passing lamp kits.

I talked to the service department today and they said it would
take 2 1/2 labor to install (Nacelle & PL)... Should a newbie
attempt such an install? I can do it if there is somewhat detailed
instructions plus I have the maint manual... This is my first Harley
and I don't want to screw it up...
