Are they worth it?

I'm looking at bags. Any opinions on Boss Bags? I don't mind paying the price if I'm getting quality for it.

Top quality, excellent fit, you can't go wrong. They are expensive. Picked up a slightly used pair of EBay and saved a $100. Here's a pic of the 31s on my Dyna and 36Ds on my buds Deluxe.

There are a few other manufacturers that offer equal quality...some for less cash...there are others that offer good bags for a lot less, some may even be of similar quality...shop around carefully first 'cause there are a lot of both cheap and expensive that are crap...

They are expensive and I had been pondering buying them for a few days. Then I looked down at the little HD leather covered, triangle shaped, tool box I'd purchased for $107 What the hell, what's another $700 or what ever so I bought them. They are the best accessory I've purchased for my Dyna. I have them on about half the time for day rides and allways on trips.

I had a set of 'Big Bertha' sadlebags for over twenty years on several bikes.
Well made, look good and easy to care for.
Finally had to get a new pair this year.
The maker Pac-Kit is on the web. They are located in Owasso, Mi and will ship anywhere.
IMO they are the best.

BossBags are fantastic. We experimented with other bags and bracket systems for my sisters' Sportster and were very disappointed with the Ghost Bracket system.

We tried to save money and ended up wasting about $400...

The quick change system on the BossBags is great and looks very clean when you want to go bagless as well.

You won't be disappointed with BossBags... the leather quality and craftsmanship are first rate.

I've very happy with the 36s on my Fatboy. Yes, they are expensive and I'm not sure they're worth it, but I'm sure they're top quality and operate perfectly as advertised. Worth it or not, I'd buy them again, so in my mind I guess they're worth it. I wanted detachables because I thought I'd ride without them for the most part, but I leave them on 90% of the time. One big plus is the ease in cleaning the bags/washing the bike because the bags come off so easily.
