Paint: Seafoam Green
I took my tins to the painter this week. I seen the color chip seafoam green used on s-10 pickups back in 92 or 93. I think that's the (50's look) green I am looking for. It is hard for me tell just by the chip.
My painter also has a guy that makes decals. I am going to use the 86 heritage decal, but the colors for the decal are red, silver, and black. The guy is going to use the green instead of red, so to match bike.

Have you thought about two-toning it with a white or cream? I think that would look cool and give you that Duo-Glide look. Good luck!

Hey man, check out VaFatboy's bada$$ Fatty. He did something near a Sea foam Green, maybe a bit more blue, and is worth checking out. I've seen it in the sunlight. It freakin' glows man. I'm thinking 50's Belair or Thunderbird.

HarleyRocker, have any pics sounds interesting.
HD-LUX, I forgot about vafatboy painting his a similar color of green. Thanks for the pics. I feel better for some reason now. His bike looks good. I was starting to re-think the color thing again. I will be glad when the paint is done.
It will be two tone with white. I am not sure on how bright the white needs to be. I picked out something in the middle of off white and bright white.

When I first saw VaFatty's there was another bike there that had factory "seafoam" looking oval two-tones on the fatbob tanks painted a light gun metal-ish gray. Looked real good too.

rk05,
Did you paint the bike to match the wash bucket in the background?

I just love that kinda humor!
Oh, I also LOVE the seafoam green color. Have considered having my Heritage painted that color with black. Either those colors or a light yellow and white combo.

You know they say green is bad luck on motorcycles?
I don't know if "Seafoam Green" counts though. Looks like turquoise to me.
