Photo Editing Help

Does anyone know of a program that can reduce the size of multiple digital photos at one time?

If you're running Windows XP, microsoft has a Powertoy on their site, free, that does a nice job.

I use a G5 iMac and a PC at work but only have PC at home.

5 MegaPixel cameras are great until you want to email some pictures. Just want to avoid having to reduce 200 pictures separately.

Thanks for the info.

I think IrfanView will do that for a folder. Or scruncher. That's really a personal preference and IrfanView doesn't care.

What I mean to say is that I think IrfanView will reduce the size of all the images in a particular folder and resave them by either overwriting the file names or by generating new files.

I use version 3.97 and although I use Photoshop for batch conversions, I'm pretty sure IrfanView does it as well.

csoday will become famous soon enough
I have XP Office and I "EDIT", "SELECT ALL" , right click, "RESIZE PICTURE" and select from four available sizes.

The WindowsXP powertoy is an easy tool to use. You can also use The Gimp for windows.

Image Resizer

The Gimp
You will need to download a couple packages to run it, but it is a great "FREE" image manipulation tool
