After a few weeks of hanging out I decided it was a good idea. I was surprised a lifetime membership is twenty years. Plenty for me but maybe not for others. Cool forum and a lot to be learned and shared here.

I really don't appreciate being charged for something I didn't agree to........

I "was" a preminum member in 2006 when I first joined, but decided to not renew in 2007.

and to top it all off, it doesn't even show on my profile that I'm a preminum member! so I was charged the $15.00 without my consent, and the forum hasn't even updated my profile to reflect that I'm a preminum member!

I just want my $15.00 back please........
They just did the same thing to me. I immediately contacted Pay Pal and cancelled the subscription. I also emailed the Biller. I received my refund within minutes.

Here is the email of the Biller. "Stew Lawson" <slawson@verticalscope.com>. Just email Stew and tell him you didn't authorize your subscription payment.

Hope this helps.

KenInVic is an unknown quantity at this point
Mine got deducted automatically too... and now I find out from Stew that the monies are going to donations@v-twinforum.com - except... wait for it... donations@v-twinforum.com is the old owner, Dave Price - so somehow Dave got paypal setup to autodeduct $15 USD from my paypal account without my knowledge, and whats worse, he doesnt even own v-twinforums anymore - and I only found this out now when I got an email from Stew saying that I need to pay for another year - Dave's got my money and paypal told me to sort it out with Dave and Stew. Now don't you guys think that all emails associated with v-twinforums.com should be the property of the new owner of v-twinforums.com, and don't you all think that Stew should sort this out with Dave rather than have me go through all this hassle just to get my money back from the previous owner so that I can pay Stew for another year. Ya, I'm pissed!

I have gone over this with you a few times now. This is how it works.

Yes we own the admin@v-twinforum.com and the donations@v-twinforum.com email. However, when the former owner of the site set up his PayPal account he created the account with those email address. When you originally signed up, your subscription wasnt defined by the email address. You had a subscription number and that is what is tied to his account. Not the email address. I dont know how much more clear I can be about this.

He didnt set it up so that it magically came out of your account. When you signed up the first time when he owned the site, You SUBSCRIBED as a member. That Subscription had a option to renew annually. Your Subscription was linked to his account. Hes a crook and never canceled his account. Hence your subscription auto renewed to his account.

There has also been an announcement on the site for a full YEAR. Its at the very top of every thread in every forum.

Dave Price is committing fraud, and that we cannot control. He is also a member of the US Army, yet is continuing to steal from
members, and has not responded to our lawyers. This has also been brought up many times with Paypal and they will not step in and help us.

Stew

Gosh, I've known about this, just didn't know the extent. I'm so disappointed in Dave Price. I hope he's man enough to admit his fraudulent behavior and return what's rightfully theirs (the VTwin members).
