well apparently the forum decided to make me a "preminum" member without my consent!

they just charged my paypal account $15.00 on October 17th.
I cancelled the subscription about 5min after I got the notification of the charge. and emailed the forum admin. it's now the 23rd and STILL no refund or email back from the admin of this forum......

I really don't appreciate being charged for something I didn't agree to........

I "was" a preminum member in 2006 when I first joined, but decided to not renew in 2007.

and to top it all off, it doesn't even show on my profile that I'm a preminum member! so I was charged the $15.00 without my consent, and the forum hasn't even updated my profile to reflect that I'm a preminum member!

I just want my $15.00 back please........

Check who your payment went too. You probably had a automatic subscription renewal with PAYPAL to the previous owner of the forum (with your consent). Please read this announcement ... http://www.v-twinforum.com/forums/v-...tion-span.html

If your payment went to an email in one of the threads linked above you should file a dispute with PAYPAL.

I filed a dispute with paypal, I just recieved an email from them this morning denying my claim....

I cancelled the subscription right after I got the notification that the payment was made.

now what??

if it was with my consent then it would have renewed in 2007 automatically, instead of the forum sending me an email every month asking me to come back and be a preminum member...

Admin@v-twinforum.com would be the email Dave Price, the former owner, used. I checked your account and see that it expired on 10-17-07 as you suggest. You may try calling PayPal and disputing it verbally with them. I don't know why it would be denied. That's the best I can do. You can PM "Admin" if you want but I am fairly certain they can't do anything about the payments going to DPrice.

As far as consent that would have been setup when the initial subscription was setup. The forum has no way of starting or restarting a subscription on your behalf. As for the missed payment last year, you may want to do a history search and confirm it was missed. It may have been made to DPrice as well and just missed.

I know that the payment wasn't made last year, because I haven't been a preminum member since then and I'm still not one.....

something similar happened to me. they tok my money, i got confirmation, and about a month later, i am just an unpaid bumb that cannot see attachments.

i dont want money back, i wanna get my moneys worth. BTW, well over a week and no aknowledgement of my email to admin. sumbitch had no problem killing my account after recieving payment, but sure is taking time to repair problem.

You have to send PM's to Admin. I'm not sure the "contact us" link is checked all that often. The PM works well.

Been here for a few years, met some great folks, had some fantastic entertainment and gotten great advise.
Felt like $40 worth to me. Only concern is that "lifetime" is good for 20 years...you know something I don't???
