Gotta love my wife!!
My wife went to go watch a friend of ours' band play yesterday. She told me that at the show they had some guys showing off two Boss Hoss Trikes and a Goldwing (very odd combination). She got a ride on the Goldwing and told the guy it was very comfortable but too quiet and didn't have enough vibration!! She later told me that she now understands what I mean when I say "It sounds like a sewing machine". She also told me that she didn't like the BH trikes at all. Said they were really ugly all the way around and even quieter than the Goldwing. Then came the line that made my night, she said "man by then end of it I was really missing your bike!"

Your wife shared an excellent observation. My own "better half" has never liked really quiet motorcycles cause she thinks the lack of noise is dangerous (no one hears you) and she doesn't care for odd looking motorcycles either.

Gotta love 'em...

My old lady was confused at first when I sold my Honda bike and picked up the Harley. She was like, "But your other bike was paid off and nice looking, why'd you sell it and buy this one?" I took her for a ride on it and she was like, "Okay, I get it. This bike is way cooler than your other one!" Made that $14,000 purchase even more justified, you know?

I bought the Ultra and had a freind give me A/M Floor Boards. I heard the banging in the garage (careful now boys) and there we was ubder the bike with a hammer hitting the running boards to get the new ones on. She put the things on for me. Also he roofs, does electrical, plumbing, framing, finish work and lays tiles and wood floors (among other things). Got to love THAT.

Very nice. My wife has: landscaped the property, installed outside motion lights, installed nice inside lighting, fixed some "plumbing" and sweated the pipes (whatever that is) , painted the inside of the house and totally remodeled a bathroom. Gotta love that. Function and form!!!
I forgot to add that she bought my detachable tourpack, back rest and tour pack lights for my road glide as a gift for me.

The day I get my old lady on a bike of her own, it'll be a cold day in hell. We're all better off though; she can barely drive.
