So, are State HOG Rallies a snore, or what?

Nobody much responded anywhere about an eyeball. Only 10 views of my post in this heavily visited area.
Just looked at the schedule for the weekend. (Ooh, the high point is a ride down the runway at the airport where I am a controller. Talk about a bussman's holiday...)
Doesn't look like much is on the table. Or am I missing something?

The only one I ever checked out was the one in Ft Laud Fl a few years back, and yes I could not stand the standing around looking at folks looking at each other. I decided it was not for me so I keep my $$ and went and seen friends instead.

I joined hog 20 years ago, only to be elligible for the fly 'n ride program. Dropped the membership after it expired. The events and riders seem like a big yawn.

its usually the events that take place around a rally that make it fun. look for block parties and such in the town its held in. when you stuff a bunch of bikers in one place theres fun to be had...just not where you expected. the night life is usually more interesting than the rally.

although some of the runs in unfamiliar areas can be nice to get a look around at the scenery. if the teresi(?) dyno drags are there theyre good for some laughs also.

To me, they "are" what you make of them. Some of us live life at 200mph and some of us at 30mph. Crotch rocket or cruiser choice. I prefer the 60mph choice.
