I feel compelled to add to this. I still got my 01 FLHR, but I have added a FLHTCU. Which is my main ride.
But your really can't have to many bikes.

'81 Lowrider (bought in '84 with 4k) with 130K on the clock, and a 2000 Ultra (bought new) with 35K. Still own both and ride each about equally—OK, so the Ultra gets to go on more long range trips, especially when the ol' lady's packin'.

'04 Fatboy--9 months '05 RoadKing--5 months I plan on keeping these sleds for a long time,'cause they are bothe highly customized, & the Fatty is carbed, which I prefer to EFI. Also, with all of the crap the EPA is forcing on us, I imagine that each new year Harley will have more restrictions & be less fun to ride--the TBW is one example. Rode an '09 RoadKing in Daytona, and my race-tuned '05 blew it away. It has a severe throttle lag, due to EPA requirements, and I can see them getting more restricted, especially now the Der Fuehrer is in power!

99 Ultra purchased new in Feb 1999. Currently has 87k on the clock. Upgraded the engine to 95" at 50k. Plan to give her new paint at 100k and then roll the odometer again.

Holy Resurrection Batman!
Berserker started this thread about the same time as when I got my bike. '04 Ultra w/sidecar (which is detached for now) purchased in May of '04 now has 54K on it.

Wow, this thread pulled out of the basement almost 5yrs to the day. Somebody was diggin' deep!
'04 RK Custom bought June '04. Since the MOCO has made it a future collectible , I'm hangin' on to it for a huge return on my investment. I figure 50-60 yrs from now, I'll be really rich.....and a deccagenarian...
